Home bakers/cooks, canners, gardeners, food bloggers, professional chefs, students...pretty much anyone who likes to grow, make, or share food.
We have food swappers of all ages and cultures. All participants must be individuals trading goods that they made, grew, or foraged themselves. Some examples of popular food swap items include jams, pickles, salsa or relishes, baked goods, granola, spice mixes, homemade pasta, vegetables or herbs.
The sky is the limit. Think outside of the bakery box!

We are extremely excited to be hosting our First Swap of 2017 at The Honest Abe Cidery!
Honest Abe's is L.A.'s First Craft Cidery and one of the South Bay's best kept secrets. The founder of Southern California's first hard cider company is now a founding board member of the California Association of Cider makers. With various Handcrafted Hard Cider Brews and Mead, it's a fantastic place to try something other than the usual beer or wine.
Honest Abe's is a family friendly environment, and non-swappers are welcome to stop by, observe and try the wonderful blends created at the cidery. They will have several blends available for tasting and purchase during our swap.
We are an eclectic gathering of Artisan Food Lovers, who exchange extraordinary, Handmade and Homegrown food creations.
A Food Swap is part silent auction/part village marketplace/part fun-loving open house.
We offer a modern take on an old tradition.
Your homemade creations become your own personal currency that you can use to swap with other participants. No cash is exchanged.
Artisanal goodies change hands and everyone goes home happy and Inspired.
Our mission is to bring together our community by sharing our love and passion for creating, and growing, fabulous food representative of our various cultures and world travels.
